Donadio is quite the gentleman possessing the baroque look of the true Andalusian. . He has the sweet nature that these stallions are known for long with the wonderful and great movement.
He is a pure Spanish and has been approved by the Cria Caballar, Spain. Donadio is by the beautiful jet black stallion Ascension by Maestro (black) by Dejado (black) out of Granada K (black). Donadio's dam is Gema TG which she is a dark grey but a consistent producer of color, she is by Tribuno by Vinatero V (black) she is out of Ferianta III by Poseido V. Between the two it makes Donadio about 60% Cartusian and 40% Military/Escarlera (old Military) I am told that it is hard to find horses in the US with more than about 25% military/Escalera.
Donadio showing was cut short due to a serious fetlock injury at only 3yrs old but when he was has shown he had placed very well and getting super remarks and scores on conformation, especially shoulder and croup. But he has made up for it in his offspring showing and doing very very well. One placing Reserve Champion (a weanling) in his Halter class at the 2006 ERAHS.

He is listed as a Foundation Sire or in the following registry’s: Iberian Warmblood ,Spanish Norman , Americana SportHorse (now closed) amd the Friesian Blood Horse Registry Sanctioned Stallion (Baroque Category).
Donadio is a grey but with the black in his pedigree he has produced a range of color on his foals; blacks, bay, buckskin, champagne and grey. I have been most impressed with his offspring. They seem to take the best of both parents with Donadio stamping a nice shoulder ,croup and neck on them along with outstanding movement.
