Yankee is a lovely 10 YO 16.2 hand TB bay gelding. He has evented to Novice (schooled Training) and done local hunters to 3' with his previous owner, and has done some Elementary events and CT's with me. I bought him as I was first learning to jump/event as he is a point and shoot type of ride and dressage comes easy for him. He is easy to frame up, and will go in a relaxed hunter frame all day long, or move up into a dressage frame. He would be perfect for a junior or adult amateur who wants a fun and simple ride. He goes cross-country with confident riders in a snaffle, however, he can be bright in the open with a timid or novice rider. He knows what to do cross-country! He is UTD on shots, teeth, worming, and lives out or in. Currently on field board. He is being ridden about 2-3 days a week now. He has front shoes on now, but usually goes barefoot all winter. Great for vet, farrier, on xties, etc. Easy horse to ride and own. He has potential to be a show hunter, and could likely do jumpers as well, but I am too inexperienced to get him there! Would be a packer for someone with time to show him. I'd love to see him go to a competition home who will use him to his potential. I just had a baby this year, and don't have the time to compete at this stage in my life. He is truly a talented horse who will go far. NO TRIALS, NO LEASES. Price somewhat negotiable due to him not being is full work at this time.
