"Skeeter" has been with us for 4 years and has been used as a confidence builder for a youth/amateur rider. She has been shown at the local level in western classes but she also goes well huntseat. She's easy enough for a novice rider to ride but will give an experienced rider a good ride too. I would not recommend her for a beginner rider unless she is with a trainer. This mare would be a great prospect for someone who wants to show at the local level in western and hunter type classes. She looks good under saddle in both styles and is correct enough to show in the halter classes. Show her now, and with her pedigree (Zippo Pine Bar, Sonny Dee Bar) breed her later!
Skeeter is UTD on worming/shots/coggins. She is shod up front every 4-6 weeks depending on hoof growth, barefoot in back. She's good in a stall but loves to be turned out to pasture where she is currently. She's an easy keeper, N/H but has no symptoms and no special dietary requirements. She is not at all marish and gets along well with mares and geldings.
Why are we selling? We currently have 7 horses and can't ride them all!! Skeeter is one of the most broke horses on the farm and the best for resale at this time.
We are working on getting additional photos and short videos which will be posted ASAP. We ask for only adults inquiries about this mare, no minors please. Thank you for your interest in our mare.
