Cowgirl is Impressive breed and has the build this breed is known for. My daughter has shown her in 4-H for the last 4 years & Region 9 the last 2 years. She has been shown in Halter, pleasure, western riding, and all running events. She knows the running event patterns, but she has no real speed. Unfortunately, she was diagnosed with ringbone in her right front ankle Aug. 2008. According to the vet, he feels the ankle should fuse in a few years at which time she will be sound again. The vet recommended she be used as a broodmare or light pleasure riding until she is able to perform in the areana again. We had already had her bred spring of 08 so she was retired to the pasture to to have babies. She delivered a chestnut filly this past March (she will be listed also). We are selling her due to no plans to raise any more babies in the near future & herd reduction to make room for a 1D-2D Barrel Horse.
