KID SAFE & FUN TO RIDE !
He has shown in: Halter, Trail, Horsemanship, Showmanship, WP, EP, Equitation, Cowboy Mounted Shooting, and fun classes. He wins most at versatility, halter, and pattern classes, earning Versatility Champion and Stock Horse Champion in our All-Breed Club.
I give lessons on him occasionally (once a week) with people from 8yrs to 60.
No unsoudnesses. No vices-he's a gentleman. He's usually in a stall, although he was a pasture horse about 5 years back for 3 years. Not a problem to catch, especially with FOOD. Easily prepares for shows: clipping, bathing, banding, loading, and tying to the trailer all day.
He's done parades, fair shows, and county shows, all without problem.
He gets to go on trail rides almost once a week, and my 62 yr old mom takes him out alone, even late at night, with no problems. He's relaxed and a slow walker. Goes over water crossings and bridges.
We ride bareback in the winter a lot, and he can do the same things bareback in a halter that he does in full tack.
