Yogi bear ( as I call him) is a 7 year old thoroughbred gelding. He is big boned for a tb, and looks more like a warmblood. I bought him as a 3 year old off the track, although he never raced. He is schooling and showing 3' and is amazing at shows. Not spooky or crazy at all.. doesn't act like your typical tb. He is a GORGEOUS dappled grey with a blaze and socks. He is a very pretty, floaty mover and still wins in the company of imported warmbloods. I am a student and I'm selling him due to financial reasons. He is dependable and brave, will trail in company or alone. Likes other horses and animals. He is a goofball! Always curious and wants to come over and hang out with you. He is very dependable and will take care of his rider, and has certainly saved my butt numerous times! He does require atleast an intermediate rider just because of his size.
Yogi has been used in lessons, and the IEA circuit down here. (was used as a ride for highschool and middle schools teams that have never ridden him before) Everyone is a fan of this guy, he is just so fun. I ride him bareback in a halter and lead rope.
