Jinxy is a cute mover with a very cute jump and a wonderful work ethic.
With a solid foundation in both jumping and dressage disciplines, he is perfect for a rider who is looking for a patient, safe and error-tolerant horse to learn on.

Jinxy is honest over fences and very easy and straightforward to ride to a jump. He does not look for excuses to stop or run-out and will happily carry a novice rider around a course of jumps.
He has been jumped up to 3’ and does his lead changes both directions.

In December 2008 Jinxy was in the ribbons at Black River in the schooling hunters. He required no longing or other prep to get to the ring –he walked off the truck, warmed up briefly, and stepped in the ring to get his ribbon.

In dressage Jinxy is schooling Second Level and will happily practice shoulder-in, haunches-in, renvers and half pass again and again without getting frustrated or bored with the exercise. He is very obliging to a dressage ride and patient with a rider who is still learning. His willing attitude gives the rider every chance for success as they are learning new movements, and for this reason he is popular both with dressage students and dressage instructors.

Jinxy is also an excellent trail horse who hacks out alone or with company. He crosses water and we have the picture to prove it!

Jinxy is very well-mannered on the ground and he is easy to load, clip, bathe, shoe etc.
He would be suitable for a child or timid adult to handle.

With his willing attitude, sane mind, cute movement and jump, and solid foundation across a variety of disciplines, Jinxy would be suitable for hunter/jumpers, dressage, eventing, trail and anything else his rider could dream up.
