He's back...I put Beau up for sale a few months back then pulled the add due to the fact that I had been riding him and he was doing quite well. Since then I've acquired a new horse and Beau isn't being ridden much.
Beau spent the winter and spring at Findlay equine college getting more training under his belt. He's a really fun horse to ride, lots of energy and willingness. He probably could use a better rider than what I am. But he does well. He's great on trail rides, is willing to go anywhere, through streams and up big hills. One thing about him though is that he loves to ride with company. And he does great with another horse riding with him. He can ride alone, but he gets a bit nervous and seems a bit on edge. With company he relaxes and rides on out.
Beau is current on all his shots and deworming. He stands great for the farrier and vet. He was trimmed the other day, since I wasn't riding him much I didn't put shoes back on him. He's sound and looks great. I've ridden him on a small track and he's got some speed. I've only trail ridden him so I don't know if he could be a barrel or pole horse. Someone with some experience would know that better than me.
If you have any questions feel free to contact me. I do better answering via email and through this add.
