Super flashy 15.1h 1999 paint gelding for sale. Black bay/black and white paint with bald face, blue eyes, 4 stockings, white spot on belly and black & white tail. Blue is an absolute love! I have owned him since May '05 and would keep him forever if it was feasible - I am selling him for financial reasons ONLY. Looking for someone who will love him and give him a long-term home. Blue is such a good boy - great ground manners, no barn vices, trailers, good for vet and farrier, no health issues, longes per voice commands, body-clips. He's a barn favorite with the older kids, and has an in-your-pocket personality.... always wants to visit with people around him. He is currently boarded in Hamilton, MA, but would also do well in a backyard situation, as he does not get attached to his horse-neighbors.
Blue is a super pleasure mount! Extra comfy canter you could sit all day. Not at all heavy through the bit - rides in a snaffle. Has been ridden WTC bareback, has been trail-ridden alone, or in small to large groups, and has been used in a lesson program for experienced beginner thru intermediate adults and pre-teen/teen riders. Blue has also been shown by teenagers and adults in unrated pleasure, pre-elementary events, and hunter-paces.
Blue also has very good dressage basics, and good natural head carriage. He is currently ridden in an indoor area at least twice a week, and this exercise schedule will continue until he is sold.
Has also been jumped at a low level, and enjoys jumping when he is familiar with the fences, or they are natural/no loud colors. Blue is not recommended for someone looking for jumping as a primary skill or pursuit, however he is super for doing a little jumping for your own fun/pleasure.
Blue also shows potential for western pleasure, has been saddled & bridled western and understands western reining when paired with leg commands.
